The Case

We were asked to research two publicly traded companies and select one to take private. It is was our job to assess the companies and provide insight and advice to the investment team related to the merits and any potential risks related to the transaction. We made sure our decision aligned with the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan mission, values and investing strategy. Our team's recommendation was adjudicated by a panel from OTTP and we won the competition.
